Across the country...

  • Jul. 1st, 2009 at 7:37 PM

the Africa cards decks Around the World created for Starbucks are flying off the shelves! Since some of my major supporters love Starbucks' coffee there is a contest that got started in PA Called 'Where in the world will the next Africa card pack be spotted?'

So far we have Pittsburgh. Seattle. Cleveland. DC. Morgantown. Miami.

Just send in a pick of an Africa card deck from any Starbucks in the nation and perhaps, you may be the lucky winner to receive some love from Around the World. Give it a try.

Around the World joins Starbucks!

  • Jun. 15th, 2009 at 6:50 PM

Starbucks coffee stores have just launched their first Around the World product! Check out your local Starbucks store to get the very first Africa trivia deck customized for Starbucks. There are questions of course about Africa but also about coffee!!! You know coffee did originate in Africa! ATW is joining forces with the giant coffee maker to enhance customers' experience about where in the world coffee comes from and how we can learn all about it! Plus, this is a great summer activity to play with the kids in the car at the pool or right at home.

Enjoy!

I think it's the latter. Found an art gallery showing skateboards. Hmm. Until you get up close and personal art can allude you. Today I found art in a skateboard. (continue reading &aquo;)

  • Feb. 18th, 2009 at 9:13 PM
Running a small-business that involves traveling the world has its perks. I think the next travel "perk" I get will be in Peru. I am considering a hike through Machu Picchu and excited to learn the ways of Peru.

What do you all think? Is Peru a place you want to learn more about? If so, write me some questions on things you'd like to learn about and I will try my best to find it all out! And of course, share my pics and adventures. (continue reading &aquo;)
